Ulcer Relief

Ulcer relief was created to help horses with major digestive disturbances. It helps support horses that are experiencing severe gastrointestinal problems such as ulcers that are constantly reoccurring. A huge sign that your horses digestive system isn't properly functioning is when they are a very picky eater. 

Some other signs they are experiencing major digestive discomfort can include- ear pinning, cinchy-ness, low energy, picky eater, resistant to working, touchy while being brushed along the stomach and rib area, weight loss, poor hair coat, cribbing, etc. 

We have two digestion products. Through testing we have found that this product tends to better support the horses experiencing severe gastrointestinal disturbances. If you find that this one does not seem to help your horses digestive tract and do not notice any differences after 30 days of use, and you know they are experiencing digestive discomfort, we recommend switching to the Healthy Digestion and trying that product instead. While 80% of severe cases have been responding better to this product, there are still some horses that responded better to the Healthy Digestion to fully heal their digestive system. All horses bodies respond differently to each herbal formula and need different herbs to fully heal in their own unique circumstance.

We also created two digestion supplements for the performance horses that need to be kept on a digestive product long term due to constant hauling and stress. We recommend not staying on the same one for longer than 3-4 months and then to alternate to the other for at least 2-3 weeks. You can also just use one for 3-4 months then switch to the other for 3-4 months etc. But if you find that one works better for your horse than the other, then you just need to give a 2-3 week break from that product every 3-4 or so months to continue having the product support your horse the best it can. 

This product comes in a bag that lasts approximately 30 days. 2 scoops, each scoop is 1 TBSP, are to be given once daily. For horses that need extra support, the dose can be given twice daily. 

This product contains all organic and/or wild crafted herbs. No fillers or ingredients not listed are contained in this product. If your horse is currently on grain, or is not used to herbs, it may need some time to get used to them. We recommend starting at a small dose to get them used to it if they don't take to the full dose of herbs at first. 

Ingredients:

• Papaya: Contains enzymes that help break down protein in food. Helps to soothe the stomach lining. Increases the amount of mucous produced in the mouth, esophagus, and stomach, which can help protect against ulcers and reflux. Promotes gastrointestinal regularity. 

• Fenugreek: Relieves pain and increases appetite. Fenugreek binds toxins from food, with in turn protects the intestinal wall. Traditionally it was used to help increase the weight of horses and help encourage fussy eaters. 

• Calendula Flowers: Supports digestion by gently stimulating the liver to release bile. It has been used often to help heal and prevent gastric ulcers. 

• Meadowsweet: Protects and soothes the mucous membranes of the digestive tract and prevents over-acidity in the stomach. Can also help to balance the PH in the stomach and reduce gastric mucosa inflammation which in turns helps to aid in the healing of ulcers. 

• Gotu Kola: Helps to combat inflammation and promotes calmness as well as relieves stress. Horses with upset stomachs often struggle with stress and anxiety as well. 

• Wood Betony: Helps calm the nerves and address stress-related digestive conditions such as nausea, dyspepsia, abdominal cramps and colic. Wood Betony has been shown to help decrease head shakers syndrome in horses. 

• Rose Hips: Helps support the immune system and regulate the digestive system. 

• Cleavers: Support the lymphatic and urinary systems. 

• Chamomile: Helps ease spasms in the digestive system. Helps promotes calmness in horses that tend to be anxious and tense. 

• Nettle: Helps ease gastro-intestinal troubles, regulate digestion, and reduce constipation, diarrhea, and help upset stomachs.
