Healthy Digestion

Healthy digestion was created to support a horses digestive system. It helps to increase appetite, relieve gas and bloating, supports the healing of the stomach , etc. This is a great everyday preventative for horses with more minor gastrointestinal needs. 

We have two digestion products. Through testing we have found that this product tends to better support the horses experiencing more minor gastrointestinal disturbances whereas Ulcer Relief helps horses experiencing major issues. 

We also created two digestion supplements for the performance horses that need to be kept on a digestive product long term due to constant hauling and stress. We recommend not staying on the same one for longer than 3 months and then to alternate to the other for at least 2-3 weeks. You can also just use one for 3 months then switch to the other for 3 months etc. But if you find that one works better for your horse than the other, then you just need to give a 2-3 week break from that product every 3 or so months to continue having the product support your horse the best it can. 

This product comes in a bag that lasts approximately 30 days. 2 scoops, each scoop is 1 TBSP, are to be given once daily. For horses that need extra support, the dose can be given twice daily. 

This product contains all organic and/or wild crafted herbs. No fillers or ingredients not listed are contained in this product. If your horse is currently on grain, or is not used to herbs, it may need some time to get used to them. We recommend starting at a small dose to get them used to it if they don't take to the full dose of herbs at first. 

Ingredients:

• Dandelion Leaves: Stimulates digestion and promotes regular bowel movements. Helps to support the liver and kidneys which in turn helps to eliminate the waste from the body. Helps to relieve fluid retention. 

• Fennel: Helps reduce gas and bloating. Supports a horses natural digestion process. Can help support the healing of ulcers. 

• Slippery Elm: Soothes gastric irritation and ulcers. Normalizes bowel functions.

• Ginger: Helps the stomach empty food more efficiently, preventing digestive slowdowns and discomfort. Reduces the risk of colic episodes. Soothes irritated or inflamed areas in the digestive tract. 

• Marshmallow Root: Reduces inflammation, protects the stomach lining, and absorbs excess stomach acid. Promotes healing to existing damage in the stomach lining. 

• Blessed Thistle: Stimulates the production of saliva, gastric acid, and bile, which can help with digestion, indigestion, and diarrhea.

• Lemon Balm: Soothes stomach acidity and relieves discomfort. Reduces gas levels in the digestive tract. Helps with stress-induced digestive ailments like gastric ulcers. It can help with stress-induced diarrhea and can help horses stay calm and focused.

• Milk Thistle: Protects the liver and reduces inflammation. Helps the liver produce bile. If the liver is happy, it continues to produce bile effectively, which means better fat digestion and happier horses.

• Caraway Seeds: Helps to relieve gas and gastrointestinal cramping. Promotes blood circulation and stimulates a horses appetite. 

• Artichoke: Helps with digestion by increasing the production of gastric mucus and bile, which can help with constipation and bloating. Can help with liver metabolism and function, and may even help liver cells regenerate. Contain prebiotics and probiotics, which can help improve nutrient absorption.
